Resident Services

Throughout the Christmas holiday, Tifton Housing Authority's, Resident Services department hosted its first 12 Days of Christmas Extravaganza. This was the time for us to spread joy, fun, and gifts!

The extravaganza began on December 3rd, starting with our town's Hometown Christmas holiday parade.

The fun continued through December 20th and included arts and crafts activities for all ages, including paint parties hosted by Design by Michelle; bingo always brings smiles to our senior residents' faces as they play for and win prizes.

   Youth Bowling Event

Our youth had a blast bowling, and a drawing was held, where one household from each of our properties was gifted a Christmas box filled with all kinds of goodies. The winners of those gift boxes were Shirley Cook, Ronnika Porter, Torie Coleman, Debbie Kimble, Kimyada Johnson, Mark Williams, Qunesha Scott, Angelina Fudge, and Kinshasa Bennett.

Lastly, we want to extend a special thank you to our very own City of Tifton Police officers, who joined together to purchase three bicycles to be gifted to three of our children. Those winners were, Ny 'Kia Greene, Josiah Wilson, and Quentin Ja' Michael Bennett.

Unfortunately, the Christmas luncheons had to be canceled due to inclement weather, but overall, I would say the festivities were a success, and we hope we can make this an annual event. 'Tis the season to spread joy and love, and being a part of this has made our holiday season a little bit brighter. Our hope is that we were able to do the same for all of those that participated.
