The Tifton Housing Authority is requesting proposals for legal services for the following services:

1.  Attendance at the regular monthly meeting of the Tifton  Housing      Authority Board of Commissioners and at special meetings when        necessary. (The board meetings are currently held on the second   (2nd) Thursday of each month.

2.      Availability for consultation regarding real estate law, landlord-tenant law and employment law.

3.   Litigation

Additionally, the Tifton Housing Authority requests an hourly rate for litigation or additional representation.  Firm or individual selected must be a member of the State Bar of Georgia.  Please include in your proposal the following: (1) Qualifications (2) Experience and Education (3) References and (4) Cost of Services. The THA reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any informality in the proposal process. The THA also reserves the right to extend the contract period for two additional years.

Proposals must be received in the office no later than June 29, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. Proposals shall be mailed or delivered to the Tifton Housing Authority, 1425 North Tift Avenue, Bldg. 15, P. O. Box 12, Tifton, GA  31793. Proposals may also be submitted via email to the following email address: sclark@tiftonhousing.org.
